MissionDurbanville Children’s Home serves the interests of children and families in need of care by: • Creating a safe and therapeutic environment;• Ensuring sustained contact with parents and families; • Making use of qualified personnel and dedicated volunteers; • Entering into partnerships with the business community, community organisations and government departments; • Implementing healthy business principles in order to ensure quality service, and • Applying all relevant principles included in the Constitution of South Africa. • Furthermore, its mission is also to cater for the emotional, psycho-educational and social needs of all children based on a fundamentally Christian ethos.
