Functions and events in 2017

We believe that all children have wings - and with your support, we can teach them to fly! These events are an important source of income for the Children's Home. We would like to extend a special invitation to companies to get involved as main sponsors of our Annual Ball, Rugby Event and Golf Day.

Our Annual Glamour Ball will be held at Eensgezind. This is an ideal opportunity for companies to impress staff and clients.

Entrance fee: R800 per person or R8000 per table of 10.

2 September 2017

Our Annual Ladies' Breakfast takes place. Guests can look forward to an inspirational and fun day.

Entrance fee: R400 per person or R4000 per table of 10.

TBC 2017

Our Annual General Meeting will be held at the Community Hall of the Dutch Reformed Church in Durbanville. We want to use this opportunity to share our successes and challenges with our supporters and also give our children the opportunity to showcase their talents.

TBC 2017

Our Annual Rugby Event will be hosted at Backsberg Wine Estate. This event includes a live broadcast of the Four Nations game between South Africa and New Zealand with running commentary provided by Johan Rademan from RSG. A panel of rugby celebrities will offer comments on the game. Guests can look forward to a braai lunch, short auction, receiving a goodie bag and socialising with rugby legends.

Entrance fee: R450 per person or R4500 per table of 10.

2 November 2017

Our Annual Golf Day will be held at the Durbanville Golf Club. Fantastic prizes can be won and each player will receive a gift pack.

Entrance fee: R3000 (four ball)

December 2017 - date to be confirmed.

The Durbanville Children's Home will be hosting a trail run to raise funds for our children. Distance: 5km
