About the Role
We are looking for qualified Child & Youth Care Workers to join our team in a day shift role. This position involves working closely with children and young people in a residential care environment, providing daily support, structure, and care.
Key Requirements
- NQF Level 4 (or higher) in Child & Youth Care Work
- SACSSP registered
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Strong communication skills
- Good physical and mental health
- Ability to work directly with young people
- Understanding and sensitivity towards traumatised children
- Able to work within a multi-disciplinary team
- Clean criminal and disciplinary record
- Valid driver’s licence (or currently working towards one)
- Valid Police Clearance certificate
Working Conditions
- Shift structure: 3 days on, 3 days off
- Sleepover required during shifts
